I do dabble in the stock market more and more now.  The only reason I feel comfortable is that I am dealing with mining stocks and I used to work in the industry a few years ago.  I can read the technical exploration/production details and this combined with the demand from China/India pushing prices upwards means it is not too difficult to make some money in this area. I wouldn't put my money in any other areas of the stock market as I wouldn't understand them enough. __________________ Still learning!
